Collaborative Care:
Collaborative Care increases access to mental health care and is more effective and cost-efficient than the current standard of care for treating common mental illnesses. That means multiple healthcare professionals, sponsors, and community members each bring unique expertise and perspectives to the treatment process. It is an approach that aims to offer holistic treatment plans that address both the immediate symptoms and broader aspects of a person’s life that may impact their mental health, towards a common goal of promoting the patient’s well-being and recovery.
