About Us
If you are suffering from emotional struggles for multiple reasons, you are the most important person on the Reanimations’ staff, because we all work for you. Our mission is to reduce the demand for illegal drugs, social violence, and enhance access to mental health Services with affordable and effective services, by using scientific research and the support/collaboration, partnership, and coordinated effort with community stakeholders.
Scope of the problem:
“It is important to note that four decades of developing drugs resulted in more than 20 antipsychotics and more than 30 antidepressants that did not demonstrably reduce the morbidity or mortality of mental disorders. While there may be many explanations for the public health needs associated with mental illness, there is no doubt that we need additional research and development to provide preventive interventions and cures that will reduce morbidity and mortality. Current medications play an important role in the intervention toolbox, but they have not proven to be sufficient alone or in combination with other treatments. The question is how to develop the next generation of interventions. Neither patients nor payers know how to judge what a therapist offers. There are at least two key obstacles along the way; First, there are many things that are not understood about the causes of mental illness and how they should be treated; and second, even with things that have been studied and understood, research is rarely put into practice”

Reanimations Recovery Model
The Reanimations Recovery Model is an affordable, coordinated, and integrated therapeutic system beyond traditional managed care, where people can learn to manage their symptoms or achieve full recovery. To achieve recovery, we are combining counseling/therapy and medication with vocational courses and therapeutic physical activities within our treatments, where we employ Reanimations-certified Therapeutic Mentors.
We are currently serving Gastonia city (Gaston County) within our region, which also includes Lincoln and Catawba counties. We will soon open another region, including Cabarrus, Union, and Stanly counties. If you live outside these areas and would like to receive our in-person services, you can suggest a local church with the facilities required to provide our services, and we will create a team to serve your community. Usually, Reanimations provides its services in churches, to be close to the population, where the company donates money to Churches by using facilities Churches don’t use on weekdays.
